Can anyone please advise the specification of the Yaris Cross starting battery located under the rear driver side seat for both the original model year 2023 and the specification for the recently introduced "superseded" battery ?
It would be helpful to know:
1) Battery brand & model number.
2) Capacity Amp Hour Ah.
3) Cold cranking amps CCA.

This information is available on line, just type in 12v battery for yaris cross hybrid. I am lead to understand that the standard is a 35Ah battery, a bigger 45Ah battery will fit the battery harness and I would recommend fitting this size. The hybrid system does not have a starter motor so the engine is not "cranked" over, the hybrid battery engages the engine when needed not the 12v battery,

I can see why your asking as the most recommended Yuasa comes up as ‘not suitable for this vehicle’ when inputting the reg into Yuasa’s own website.
Mine is a 2023 vehicle. If and when I get a definitive answer I’ll let you know. Update as per photos
