Re: About to be a new YC owner
I have had mine for 18 month and no issues. People do complain about the quality of the battery but I have found if you use the car and get some charge in the battery then it is fine. I live in a rural location so everything is at least 40 minutes away so the car gets a good run. I can honestly say ...

Re: Buying a YC - Confused by something
I have the bottom one on my 2021 Premier Edition.
I have access to everything I need on that system.
I am going to guess and it is purely a guess in that the top one has physical buttons to access the different parts of the system where as the one I have is more touch screen oriented.

Re: New 130hp - anyone considering it?
I don’t think the few extra bhp are really worth the extra money to change vehicles. These cars are about getting around at a respectable cost along with having some green credentials. If Toyota ever decide to make the electric side of the cars more powerful along with a more tweaked petrol motor th...

Re: Yaris Cross Mudflaps
I would try your main dealer.
I just looked on the Toyota UK site and all new Yaris Cross cars can be ordered with both front and rear mudflaps.
It is showing at about £100 on the configuration system so not too expensive.

Washer - No Power
So today we went to the town for an appointment. On route I went to clean the front windscreen and nothing came out? Tried again and nothing. Asked my wife if she had used all the fluid and forgot to say? No! Was her reply. So we reached our destination and upon checking the screen wash bottle looke...

Sounds like the brakes need some anti squeal grease on the back of the pads.

Re: First Good Run
Both 68 and 72 is really good
Are they the AWD versions?
I can’t get my AWD to give much more than 62.3 which I am happy with.
Will make me even more happy if you tell me yours is the FWD version as I am not too far behind in the AWD

Re: Where is your Yaris Cross manufactured
"European" Yaris Cross and regular Yaris are both made in Onnaing, France. Vehicles made in Japan are mostly for domestic market only. French factory cars are shipped overseas through the Zeebrugge port near Bruges, Belgium. Onnaing factory complies obviously with Toyota's highest standar...
